So my almost one year old is about as stubborn as a rock...a biiiig rock. He refuses to listen to "no" "stop" "quit" or "don't". Wonderful. Actually he'll laugh when you tell him those things...I tried swatting his hand when he touches something he's not supposed to...but again he laughs. I don't swat hard...which is probably why he laughs.
Oh well...he'll learn. I hope. He likes to scale things, or try, pull things down...eat things. I think once every 5 seconds he's trying to hurt himself with something...like no less that 10 seconds ago he was swinging his half eaten bottle around himself because it was the cool thing to do. *wonders*
Also, he is greatly opposed to the changing of his diaper...to any doors in extistance, baby gates, anything in his way, people talking on cell phones, napping, wearing socks (as he threw one at me yesterday) and just about anything else that is not a book, toy, duck or blanket.
Right now he's trying to stand on his head, open the diaper cream jar and remove his diaper...pretty much at the same time.
I have no idea how he does all this. He should be exhausted. But no...not phoenix. He's coming over to hyjack my laptop now...joY
